Catch a glimpse of the future: what will the electromobility of tomorrow look like?
Experience the production of the legendary BMW motorcycles in around 90 minutes: in the mechanical production department you can be there live when the powerful engines are created. You will visit the new logistics center, which is one of the most modern in the motorcycle industry worldwide, and you can look forward to the assembly hall in which the motorcycles are assembled from around 2,000 parts and components. And we take a look into the future: What will the electromobility of tomorrow look like?

Information
The BMW Berlin Plant has a long tradition as production site and an exciting history. Experience the fascination of a highly modern vehicle production, where man and machine build two-wheeled dreams! We are happy to answer your questions and we are sure that there are a lot of them.

Daily production – up to 700 units
Duration and Distance.
Plant tour will last 90 minutes. The route leads through the production facilities, involving the climbing of stairs. The distance to be covered is about 2 kilometres. Please also remember to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes for the tour.
No Photos, no Filming.
On the premises filming and taking
photographs as well as the use of mobile phones are not allowed. Therefore it is not permitted to take cameras, mobile phones and PDAs on the plant tour. It is advisable to leave them in your car or bus; however, lockers are available to deposit such items. Mobile phones are permitted in flight mode only.
Safety.
Guided tours take place during production hours. Visitors enter at their own risk. It is mandatory to follow your tour guide’s instructions. Leaving the designated visitor path or the guided tour on your own is strictly prohibited.
Places.
There are only 25 places on the factory tour, and they will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Catering.
Beverages are offered in the
CommCenter after the tour. Visitors are not allowed to bring along or consume other drinks or food during the tour.
Language.
To ensure the safety of all guests, it is essential that the chosen language for the tour is understood by the group or your translator. Failure to have the fluency required can result in the tour being cancelled.
No Animals.
Visitors are not allowed to bring along animals or pets of any kind.
Persons with Pacemakers/Insulin Pumps.
If you are wearing an insulin pump or a pacemaker, please inform your tour guide before the start of the tour.
Wheelchair Users.
Please inform our Service Centre, if you have more than one person with a wheelchair in your group.
No Smoking.
On the plant premises smoking is allowed in marked areas only and not permitted during the tour.
